HOW HE ASKED
Nate proposed on a rainy Saturday afternoon on February 7th. After a stressful morning at the vet with their pup, he convinced Emily to “take pictures of the city” at Treasure Island. A little suspicious, Emily posed in front of the San Francisco skyline while Nate sneakily set his camera to record and then quickly got down on one knee! He then whisked her away for a night in Healdsburg (near wine country), and arranged for a romantic dinner on the patio for the two of them and Kitsu at Chalkboard restaurant.
Fun fact: the stone used for Emily’s ring once belonged to Nate’s late Grandma and it is a true honor to have her as part of their love story.
